Nadia & Nicks Bickley Mill Inn wedding
Congratulations to Nadia and Nick who married in July at St. Nicolas Church Shaldon, their wedding reception took place at the Bickley Mill Inn Stoneycombe.
Nadia had collected so many lovely ideas inspired by the English seaside with a little vintage twist, she wished to incorporate shells, star fish and dried corn into her fresh floral designs.
Our team dressed the Bickley Mill Inn using perfect fit white chair covers and soft gold Taffeta sashes which brought the natural sand tone into the room. We created Nadia’s table centrepieces by edging her pale blue lanterns with a Gypsophila which gave the illusion of soft frothy waves, nautical bunting draped from the wooden beams and beach pebbles used for the seating plan. This lovely lady is one of the most talented people I have ever met. From the moment we walked into her beautiful shop I knew that Louise would get our wedding flowers “just right.” She had brilliant ideas for what to do and I knew I could trust her to make it beautiful. I wasn’t wrong. Everything from my bridal bouquet filled with roses, wheat and shells to the pedestals spilling over with roses, gyps and sea grass were simply spectacular. I didn’t want to put my bouquet down all day! All my guests complimented the floral displays and how beautiful they were and Louise had matched them to my seaside theme perfectly. The gold chair sashes and white covers also made the venue look elegant and tied everything together beautifully. If you are looking for someone to make your wedding beautiful, to help you plan and prepare and to give you more than you ever dreamed possible – Wild Floral Designs is the florist for you! Thank you Louise! xx
